With five starters back from last year’s state tournament, this year’s West Delaware boys’ bowling team had high expectations coming into the season. And those expectations were fulfilled, with the Hawks ending their year with a fifth-place finish at the Class 1A State Team Bowling Tournament in February.

In addition, junior Louis Shontz finished fourth in the Class 1A State Individual Tournament.
