Abigail Kelchen and Daniel Williamson, both of Minneapolis, Minn., were married on Feb. 6 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines. Ron Myers officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Joe and Susan Kelchen of Manchester and Dennis and Barbara Williamson of Stillwater, Minn.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Elizabeth O’Neill, of Cedar Rapids, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Kristin Neumann, of Shawnee, Kan., Laura Marxen, of Hiawatha, sisters of the bride and Carmen Schechinger, of Denver, Colo., friend of the bride.
Best man was Andrew Williamson, of New Hope, Minn., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chase Burtis, of Minneapolis, Minn., Brandon Wothrabe, of Minneapolis, Minn. and Josh Rhodig, of Ann Arbor, Mich., all friends of the groom. Ushers were Josh Buyck, of Des Moines, Michael Kelsey, of Des Moines, Lucas North, of Omaha, Neb, all friends of bride and Scott Ackman, of Omaha, Neb., friend of groom. Ring Bearers were Henry Marxen, of Hiawatha and Elliott Neumann, of Shawnee, Kan., both nephews of the bride.
A reception was held at the Marriott in downtown Des Moines.
Abigail graduated from UNI and is employed at ESG Architects, as an Interior Designer. Daniel graduated from University of Nebraska and is employed at HDR Architects, Digital Design Lead.
The couple took a honeymoon in Jamaica.
