After reading the front-page story in the July 10 issue of the Manchester Press expressing the Manchester City council’s concerns about the length of time citizens are allowed to talk about their concerns I am left scratching my head.

It seems to me that by limiting the time to five minutes is another attempt by the City of Manchester to keep the citizens of Manchester uninformed and in the dark as to what is going on, when things should be out in the open and in full view of citizenry. I’m sure that extra 15-20 minutes is a real burden to the council members very busy schedules. What do you think?
