Roy Verl Ingles, 75, of Greeley, passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at Belle Plaine Specialty Care in Belle Plaine.

Memorial Service with Military Rites was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood. Pastor Mike Jackson officiated.

Visitation was held from 4-7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood.

Inurnment at a later date: Grant View Cemetery, Greeley.

Roy was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Edgewood, the son of Paul and Eva (Cornwell) Ingles. Roy was raised and educated in the Greeley area. He then served honorably in the United States Navy.

Roy and Suzanne Wistrick were companions for many years. Roy worked for the railroad, drove truck, and did cement work. He also drove Amish families on their errands. Roy enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Suzanne Wistrick of Greeley; Suzanne’s daughter, Denise Wistrick of Greeley; one brother, Richard (Dorothy) Ingles of Oneida; one sister, Katherine Sickles of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents.
