Robin Ross Jones, 67, of Strawberry Point, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at Edgewood Convalescent Home, Edgewood.

Funeral Service with Military Rites were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, Pastor Mike Jackson officiated.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester.

Robin was born Dec. 22, 1953, the son of Ross Oliver and Betty Jean (Cornwell) Jones at Manchester. Robin attended Oneida and Maquoketa Valley Schools through second-grade and then finished his education at West Delaware High School. He then enlisted in 1972 and served honorably in the United States Navy.

On June 10, 1976, Robin was united in marriage to Georgia Kay Moorman at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. Three children were born to this union. Robin established his own business, Jones Painting. He enjoyed watching the Patriots play and loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Robin is survived by his wife, Georgia of 44 years; his three children: Kelly Jones of Strawberry Point, Danielle Nichole (friend Justin Ohara) Wright of Cedar Rapids and Brittani Noelle (Charles) McDowell of Strawberry Point; 11 grandchildren: Nick, Matthew, Christopher, Elizabeth and Allison Jones, Brianna and Brody Wright, and CJ, Jordan, Piper and Chloe McDowell; his siblings, Elizabeth Briggman, Margaret (Ken) Breckenfelder and Mary (Roger) Wade all of Manchester, Juanita (Jeff) Johnson of Mt. Pleasant and Randy (Connie) Jones of Marion; two brothers-in-law, Bruce Moorman of Manchester and Daryl (Sandy) Moorman of Opelika, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; two brothers-in-law, Merlyn Briggman and Roger Moorman; a niece, Marlene Briggman; and two nephews, Michael and Timmy Breckenfelder.
