Humanitarian mission takes Edgewood native to Sudan

Dr. Craig Perrinjaquet spent last Saturday in Edgewood making chocolate chip cookies with his mother, Marjorie Perrinjaquet. By the end of this week, Perrinjaquet will be in the Nuba Mountains in Sudan, checking medical clinics in the remote region. The Nuba Mountains is an area about the size of Iowa with roughly one million people.

It will be Perrinjaquet’s 12th trip to Sudan and is among many humanitarian trips he’s taken around the world to areas of need.
