Festival-goers attend Manchester’s annual Bacon N Hops event Aug. 3, 2019.

The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce is postponing the Annual Bacon N Hops event until Aug. 7, 2021. This event typically features a full bacon meal, beer, wine and cider samples, and live music in the heart of downtown Manchester.

Due to the current safety restrictions put in place and a focus on what is best for the entire community, the Chamber Board voted to postpone the event.

“These are really hard decisions. We have been looking forward to the event and having something fun to rally around, but we had to look at every angle, and in wanting to do what is best for everyone and keeping our event standards high to bring the best, we just knew that it wasn’t going to be possible this year,” shared Executive Director, Jessica Pape.

Purchased tickets have been refunded and the committee is already at work planning for 2021.
