Elsie Boeckenstedt and Greg Bonert, of Manchester, were united in marriage on Oct. 3 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Father John Kremer officiated the ceremony. Vocalist and organist was Cathy Greve.
Parents of the couple are, Mitch and Mary Boeckenstedt, of Manchester, and Steve and Jane Bonert of Hopkinton.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mitch Boeckenstedt.
Maid of honor was Michelle Boeckenstedt, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were, Brynn Boeckenstedt, sister of the bride, Brittany Slerbick, friend of couple, Rachel Bonert, sister-in-law of groom, Kristy Gibbs, friend of couple, Molly Cole, cousin of bride, Amanda Krapfl, friend of couple. Personal attendant was Krista Steger, cousin of groom. Flower girls was Addison and Aubry Bonert, nieces of groom.
Best man was Chad Bonert, brother of groom. Groomsmen were, Danny Bonert, brother of groom, Mike Wendt, friend of couple, Brett Boeckenstedt, brother of bride, Luke Krapfl, friend of couple, Ryan Gibbs, friends of couple, and Ryan Fischer, friend of couple. Ushers were, Tyler Steger, cousin of groom, Jeremy Bonert, cousin of groom, and Mike Bonert, brother of groom. Ring bearer was Grayson Boeckenstedt, nephew of bride.
A reception was held at the Pavilion in Manchester.
Elsie is a 2008 West Delaware graduate and 2011 NICC Peosta graduate and is employed as a RN at Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls. Greg is a 2007 Maquoketa Valley graduate, 2009 Hawkeye Community College graduate and 2012 UNI graduate and is employed at John Deere in Waterloo.
