Sarah Nachtman and Brian Buehler, both of Cedar Rapids, were united in Marriage Oct. 7, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Father Philip Thompson officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Gerald and Judy Nachtman, of Manchester, and Patrick and Dena Buehler, of Menomonee Falls, Wis.

Matron of honor was Aldijana Gillham, of Tiffin, friend of the couple. Bridesmaids were Laura Sedlacek, of Cedar Rapids, Mindy Nachtman, of Manchester, sisters of the bride, and Rachel Curtis, of Boston, Mass., cousin of bride.

Best man was Steve Mather, of Iowa City, cousin of the groom. Groomsman were Zach Gillham, of Tiffin, friend of the couple, Dave Buehler, of Hubertus, Wis., brother of the groom, and Brett Barnes, of Cedar Rapids, friend of the groom. Ushers were Robert Nachtman, of Waterloo, brother of the bride and Jason Granzow, of Frankfurt, Wis., friend of the groom.

A reception was held at the Double Tree by Hilton in Cedar Rapids.

Sarah graduated from West Delaware High School in 2010 and Mount Mercy University in 2014 with a business administration degree in finance and management. She is self-employed as an independent personal financial advisor with Securian Advisors MidAmerica, Inc. in Hiawatha.

Brian graduated from Menomonee Falls High School in 2006 and Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. In 2016 he obtained his masters in systems engineering from Iowa State University. He is employed as a Senior system engineer for Rockwell Collins, Inc. in Cedar Rapids.

A honeymoon was taken to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
