Delaware County Board of Supervisors approved a contract between the supervisors and Regional Medical Center (RMC) in Manchester at its June 17 meeting.
The contract, which covers costs for public health services provided by RMC for fiscal year 2019-20, is for $131,325. There was no increase in the contract amount from last year. The contract will run from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020.
The supervisors also named appointees to area boards. Supervisors named Mike Corkery to the county communications board. Caryssa O’Connell was named County Tourism Director, with Jeannie Domeyer and Bev Rahe named as tourism alternates.
County Engineer Anthony Bardgett reported to the supervisors on the following:
• Taylor Construction continues work on the substructure of the Pioneer Road Bridge.
• BARD Materials is placing contract rock in the Hopkinton area this week.
• A preconstruction meeting was held last week with Midwest Construction, the contractor for the RTA Bus Garage in Earlville. Midwest Construction plans to start digging the building footings later this week.
