Hawks Katie Wessels named All-State by INA

West Delaware senior, Katie Wessels continues to pile up the awards for her athletic achievements.
Her latest award was being named to the Class 3A Iowa Newspaper Association All-State Basketball Team as a third team selection.
Wessels averaged 15 points and 6.8 rebounds for the Hawks this season and help lead her team to 18 wins, second most in school history for five on five competition.
Ellie Ritscher of Benton Community (2nd team) and Morgan Paige of Marion (3rd team) were the only other WaMaC Conference players honored by the INA as all-staters.
