Hawk boys compete at Tipton Relays

The West Delaware boys track team made a long road trip to Tipton on Friday night for their second outdoor meet of the season.
Sophomore Taylor Heinrichs finished first in the high jump for the Hawks with a jump of 6’1”.
Full results were not availablt at press time, but the following have been reported:

Youth wrestlers compete in Des Moines |
Area youth wrestlers traveled to Des Moines last weekend to compete in the AAU State Tournament in Vets Auditorium in Des Moines. The top four district qualifiers from eight districts across the state of Iowa competed for a state wrestling title.
Area youngsters competing include:
3rd-4th grade division: Max Ridenour
5th-6th grade division: Patrick Woods- 3rd; Sawyer Amling- 3rd; Jake Voss- 2nd; Dallyn Putz- 8th; Brent Lammers.
7th-8th grade division: Zach Less- 4th; Carter Funke; Nolan Zumbach; Brent Reilly; Jacyn Goebel; Sam Lahr- 2nd |
