WD Dinner Show held
The West Delaware Music Department and Friends of Music held their 10th annual Dinner Show this weekend. It started out with a spectacular performance of “Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love” by Brittney Zumbach. Next up was Ali Berry on her trumpet with a performance that was absolutely breathtaking.
After the salad was served, Brittney Zumbach came back out on the stage, along with Ashley Fitzpatrick to sing a tribute to a certain boy they both knew well to start off the lighter side of the show.
The vocal talents of Calee Philgreen, Jon Sill, Jake Glaza and Eric Messerly were a sweet treat before the main course was even served. Emily Rauch gave a stunning performance of “Stars and the Moon” to lead up to a short intermission while the West Delaware student waiters/waitresses served food to all those in attendance. After this short break in the action listeners were given the pleasure of a performance by three young ladies meant to sing together and a string of six talented soloists. A show-stopping group composed of Philgreen, Zumbach, Glaza and Allan Sweet gave an animated performance of “Operator” before the show was once again stopped for a brief period for dessert to be served.

Jon Sill entertains all those in attendance with his animated performance of “It Had Better Be Tonight”.
When the show started out again for the last set the crowd was wowed by Kirsten Karkow’s performance of “Mercy on Me” directly followed by Allan Sweet’s stellar rendition of “Everything”. The next act gave the crowd the laugh they needed for the end of their week as Glaza and Ethan Maroff had everyone in stitches with “The Doctor Is In”. Two soloists each had an excellent showing leading up to a group of twelve young men coming out and showing the room what harmony is all about. To end the night, Sill showed his amazing energy to all as he sang “It Had Better Be Tonight” and then came back out immediately with seven other seniors to tell the evening’s attendants that “You Can’t Stop the Beat” just because the show is over for tonight.
