Hawk basketball players honored at annual banquet by Alison Nesteby

Senior BJ Hermsen shared Most Valuable Player honors for the 2007-08 season with fellow senior Chris Crawford (absent from photo). Hermsen was named 2nd team All-State for his performance this season. Junior Ben Lechtenberg was named Best Offensive Player for the Hawks’ boys basketball team at the annual banquet last Tuesday. Lechtenberg was named to the 2007-08 3rd team All-State Basketball Team.
WD Men’s Alumni Basketball Tournament
The West Delaware boys basketball program is sponsoring a West Delaware Men’s Alumni Basketball Tournament. Any graduate of West Delaware High School is eligible to participate. Games will be played April 4-6 in Manchester. Players are encouraged to organize their own teams, but individual players can also be placed on a team.
